Admission

Applicants seeking admission to Sahand University of Technology can proceed to submit their application via the link at the bottom of this page. Before admission, please read the following instructions carefully:

Regulations:

• Admission is conducted in accordance with the regulations and requirements set by the Ministry of Science. Admission is available for all active majors and fields at the university under open capacity.
• Final selection of Ph.D. applicants is s
• ubject to an interview and approval by the relevant faculty/department.
• Applicants at all levels must register on the Non-Iranian Student Portal of the Student Affairs Organization (saorg) and receive a tracking code to be submitted when applying to Sahand University of Technology.

Requirements and Documents for Admission of International Students:

• A copy of the passport and the last academic degrees along with official transcripts.
  (Important: After initial admission, submitting a Persian translation of academic documents, verified by the embassy, is mandatory.)
• Following the initial admission, applicants must provide either a Persian language proficiency test result or a certificate of completion of Persian language courses from an institution approved by the Ministry of Science.

Tuition Fees for International Students at Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz:

• Tuition fees are collected at the beginning of each academic year.
• If prerequisite courses are required, as determined by the respective faculty, their cost will be added to the total tuition.
• If the study period extends beyond the standard duration (eight semesters for Bachelor's, four for Master’s, and eight for Ph.D.), tuition for the additional semesters will be calculated separately based on the tuition table.
• A document processing fee will be charged to applicants at the time of registration.
