The faculty offers Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.)and PhD degrees in mechanical engineering and has high standard of teaching and research. Graduate studies are centred around four main areas: biomedical engineering, design and applied mechanics, vehicle engineering, and thermofluids. M.A.Sc. and PhD degrees provides a strong theoretical base with an emphasis on practical experience and numerical analysis. The faculty has active research programs, with connections to industry and an emphasis on collaborative work.
